Many like to engage in a little fishing during their cruises in Asia, however, for the serious fishing enthusiast we recommend highly specialised big-game fishing charters. These are available in some world-class, big-game fishing grounds both in the Andaman Sea, departing from Phuket, and the South China Sea departing from Singapore, Tioman, or Kota Kinabalu.
The tropical seas here hold most of the main target species of big game fishing including the king of the seas, the Black Marlin and the Blue Marlin. Striped Marlin have also been taken and the Pacific Sailfish is common. Tuna - Yellowfin, Bigeye, and Dogtooth are found the deep water areas around atolls and drops offs. Wahoo, Giant Trevally, Barracuda, Mackerel, Dorado, and big sharks add to the variety of game fish to be found.
